Nico's Hardwork Finally Pays Off

Chelsea's new attacker - Nico Jackson got on the scoresheet against newly promtoted side Luton in matchday 3 of the English Premier League. Its good to see the goals coming in for the Blue side of London after watching good displays against Liverpool and the Hammers. Raheem Sterling also looks to have found his form again under his new manager and enjoying his role at right wing with 2 goals in the 3-0 win.

Other standout players from last week include James Maddison who continues to show his 40 million pound tag was a bargain for Spurs and Taiwo Awoniyi who scored against Manchester United and conitnues his hot run of form in front of goal from last season. Arsenal continued their unbeaten start to the season in a 2-2 draw against Fulham despite the Away team going a man down. 

Manchester City left it late against Sheffield United to win 2-1 and maintain their 100% winning record this season. Pep Guardiola also became the quickest manager to win 200 games in the EPL after just 269 games. 

The match week ended at Saint James' Park where Darwin Nunez came off the bench to net twice in the final minutes - coming from a goal down to secure Liverpool all three points against Newcastle United after Virgil Van Dijk got sent off in the first half.

In La Liga, Real Madrid began matchweek 3 with a 1-0 away to Celta Vigo, Jude Bellingham's goal, the only difference between both teams. Bellingham's goal against Celta Vigo is his fourth in the league this season, the most in the league so far, and becomes only the third Real Madrid player to score in the first three LaLiga games after Wesley Sneijder and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Barcelona came out victorious in a 7-goal thriller against Villarreal in which they won 4-3. 

In the other major leagues, AC Milan recorded back to back wins following a 4-1 win against Torino and Juventus had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Bologna.

Harry Kane's brace against Augsburg was crucial to getting a 3-1 win for Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, rivals Dortmund played out a 1-1 draw against VfL Bochum.

Ronaldo Bags Another Hat-trick For Al Nassr 

Al Nassr were in action again in the Saudi Pro League where they took on Al Fateh in the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium. Al Nassr, the home side, trashed Al Fateh 5-0 with a brace from Sadio Mane and a hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo - making it his third hat-trick for Al Nassr and his 63rd in his professional career. New signing Aymeric Laporte made his debut after his move from Manchester City earlier this week. 

MLS Paradise Debut For Messi

Inter Miami continued their MLS campaign in their 2-0 away win against New York Red Bulls. Lionel Messi made his MLS debut, coming from the bench to score the second for Inter Miami and secure the three points for the visitors, moving up to 14th in the Eastern Conference.

The End Of The Fiend

Popular WWE wrestler Bray Wyatt sadly passed away on Thursday the 24th of August following a life threatening illness.

The 36 year old has been ill since the beginning of the year but passed on earlier within the week. Famously known as "The Fiend", he once won the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship which he won twice. 

We send our condolences to his family and fans worldwide.
